TK smacking it off the top as he carves down the Noosa Line up

Tom Kibblewhite, 26, has surfed his way through to the semi-finals of the LQS pro division at the prestigous Noosa Festival of Surfing.  The LQS division kicked off on the lower tide at First Point, Noosa Heads with 2-3ft waves rolling down the point.

Kibblewhite surfed his first heat Wednesday morning, narrowly taking out second place over Trent Dickey (Aus) in the closing seconds of the heat.  He progressed through to the quarter finals alongside Taylor Jensen (USA).

In his quarter final Kibblewhite posted the fourth highest heat score of the round, 14.50.  A series of critical re-entries in conjunction with some fluid noserides gave him the 8.00 he needed to convincingly progress through to the semi-finals.
